What a fun age this group is! I think this might be my very favorite age to shop for. There are so many good options and the joy and excitement from this age cannot be beat. Holidays are just so much fun when you have cute kiddos to celebrate with.
As moms, we love making the holidays magical! We go to as many egg hunts as possible, throw an awesome Easter party, visit the Easter bunny, and create as many holiday crafts as possible. Over the past few years, Mandy and I started a tradition where we shop for our Easter basket goodies together. Who doesn't love a GNO with their sister and bestie?
These guides include:
Melissa and Doug Wooden Fruit: Melissa and Doug makes the best quality toys. We love this set because you can cut the pieces which makes it more interactive.
Palm Grasp Crayons: These are perfect for little hands and it's just a bonus that they are egg shaped.
Air Fort: This is the original Air Fort. Attach to a box fan and you have a giant play fort in seconds.
Calico Critter Mini Pals: Calico Critters are one of the toys that get played with a LOT at my house. For whatever reason the mini characters are the ones most coveted.
Stella Doll: Manhattan Company is another toy brand that does a great job at making toys that last. This soft doll has a magnetic binky and you can purchase additional accessories.
Green Toys Car Hauler: Green toys are made with recyclable materials and are perfect for wet and dry play.
Melissa and Doug Cookie Sheet: This cookie sheet is a staple for any toy kitchen set. The velcro cookies are fun to scrape off and serve.
Star Belly: These are making a big commotion this year in the toy world. A soft, squishy, stuffed animal that projects stars on the ceiling.
How to Catch the Easter Bunny: We love this series of books and they made an Easter one which is lots of fun to read during the Easter season.
Easter Pop-It's: Pop it's have been super popular this year, so why not throw a few into their Easter basket!?
Water Wow Splash Cards: Use the water paintbrush to reveal the letters and associated characters on these reusable, alphabet flash cards.
Montessori Cutting Set: This toy might seem a little out there, but it is actually super useful and quite the rage right now. This kit comes with everything your toddler needs to practice cutting foods safely.
Daisy Sunglasses: Add a sweet pair of sunglasses to the edge of your toddlers Easter basket. Functional and cute!
Manhattan Toy Company Lamb: One of our favorite stuffed animal brands. This soft, cuddly guy is perfect for Easter.
Munchkin Sippy Cup: Our favorite sippy cup, TODDLER sized!
Hooded Towel: This is a hooded, microfiber towel/poncho. This is my favorite to take to the splash pad or pool.
Karaoke Microphone: Hook this up to a smart device via bluetooth and make all your child's karaoke dreams come true. Mandy has two of these and are an absolute hit.
Toddler pajamas: Our favorite pajamas from Amazon. So many good color options.
Beach Toys Set: This set is perfect for fun in the sun. We take this to the park and make the perfect sand castles. The bucket is also collabsible which makes it easy to store and go.
Writing Tablet: There are a TON of these on the market, but this one is super highly rated on Amazon and the pen is ATTACHED! No more losing the pen that actually makes this toy work.
Gazillion Hurricane Bubble Machine: Add your bubble solution to this bubble machine and watch your kids amazement when it produces THOUSANDS of bubbles for them to chase and pop.
Piggy Paint: I love these because they are NON TOXIC! My toddler has her hands in her mouth a lot, and this paint is as safe as MUD.
Acrylic Peg Board: This acrylic peg board is made by The Creative Learning Company and fits perfectly in your IKEA Trofast table. It can also be used as a light up board by placing some puck lights under the insert.
Confetti Eggs: Walmart sells these as cheap as you'll find them. They are biodegradable easter eggs that are filled with confetti that explodes when they are thrown. Don't wait to purchase these. They WILL sell out.
E is for Easter Board Book: Babylit sells this darling toddler book. The illustrations are gorgeous and this is the perfect themed alphabet book. Use our code: TOYTESTING15 for 15% off your purchase at checkout.
Green Toys Tea Set: Made out of environmentally safe, recycled materials this tea set is so cute and non toxic.
Wooden Rainbow: Look no further, we have found the largest, yet most affordable wooden rainbow. This thing is huge and perfect for open ended play.
Mod Paint Sticks: Our favorite non messy paint alternative. These are addicting to color with and a favorite of mine to gift for birthday parties.
Melissa and Doug Ice Cream Counter: This is one of our TOP TEN toys. It gets so much use and our kids love using the scoop to pick up the ice cream and serve it to their excited customers.
Wooden Beehive: Mandy and I were both born and raised in Utah and the beehive is a state symbol of ours. This company does an excellent job at hand making each beautiful piece.
Color Reveal Barbies: These come packaged and painted. Add water to your packaging container and watch the dissolvable paint swirl off your new Barbie doll. These are so fun and this smaller size is perfect for Easter.
Egg Chalk: Chalk is a staple at Easter and we thought these tie dye egg chalks were perfect to gift.
Bathtub Finger Paint: This is bathtub finger paint/soap. You can make fun designs all over the bathtub wall that also serves in washing up your little one.
Calico Critter Family: This koala family is one of my most played with toys. I love that the cute little koala sits on her mamas back.
Fat Brain Toys Gear Spinner: This toy will get SO MUCH USE. Both my baby and toddler are obsessed with watching the gears spin around as they stack them together.
Road Tape: This is so fun to tape on the ground and use as a track for your race cars.
Acrylic Neon Letter Set: These are beautiful and great to use while learning letters and playing with your sensory sets. Add them into a bin of rice and go fishing. We have fallen in love with everything from Creative Learning Co.
Spill Proof Paint Cups: These are the easiest way to contain the mess that is paint. Pour your washable paint into these cups and watch in amazement as they tip over and don't spill.
Color Wonder Pages: These are perfect if you hate cleaning up maker hands. The markers are clear and only work when used on this special paper.
Aqua Brush Activity Set: If you're looking for something religious to add to your toddler's Easter basket this year, we found the perfect thing. This is a Book of Mormon themed water book. Use code: TOYTESTINGSISTERS for 20% off your entire purchase!
